3:42 rear axle ratio>you need a much lower ratio than that...3:90's would be more appropriate and a set of 2 speed rear ends would be the cat's meow! What Provinces in Canada only allow 12K on a steer axle?

My 2013 Oversize Reference book shows 12,100 on the steers for Alberta and 12,125 for New Brunswick

I'll be with a bit of digging you can get verifiable proof that you can pack 14K for sure and possibly 16K on a steer axle across Canada. -

You've been doing it long enough we don't need to tell you when in doubt call the states. Only difference is the company doesn't have to pay the fine now you do. -
You could also look into a used tri axle dump. It will be set up for super heavy haul. Just make sure you know what emissions crap you are getting into.
