Yes Sir. R & over. 13 or 18. Don't try low to high range in R. You can also split the low side of R. Fun fact-its also done on a set of sticks.

    Kyle G. Thanks this.

I was in high range. Deep reduction didn't work. I was probably doing about 20 km/h just off idle lol.

Kyle G. and okiedokie Thank this.

I used to drive a Freightliner with a DT12 Auto, and I found out by accident one time it had a 3rd reverse gear, but you could only hit it at a certain speed.

Was doing a long straight back, tried shifting into R2 to expedite the process, but the transmission glitched out for a second and wouldn’t shift. So I bumped the paddle a couple more times, then it skip shifted into R3 and I about went through the windshield.

    okiedokie Thanks this.

To end this appropriately, if you can't find 'em, grind 'em,,and yes, I have used high side R, but only bobtail. Things go awry fast backing up a trailer at speed,,

jaffles, okiedokie and Kyle G. Thank this.

When building a Parkway in the 90s we would have R races. I drove a 5x4 belly. Hit 35 mph but it's scary. No mistakes.
