So I bought an extension for my gear shifter and I bought the air line extension as well. Every video I watched every 13 speed only had 4 air line up to the knob. Mine has 5. Is the 5th airline a back up? Can I leave it unplugged until the other airline gets here?

That 5th one is the auxiliary, it should come with a trumpet tip , when , if air pressure drops below operational minimum blow into trumpet mouth piece .
EzcVNL and skallagrime Thank this. -
Most likely someone stuck a line on the exhaust port.

Maybe just a spare? Maybe they just hooked it up because there were 5 ports on the knob?
I don't think any have 5, but possibly an LL?
I don't have my computer here, but 13's were 4, 18's only 3 IIRC.
