    What he said. I know Eaton recommends pre selecting the shift before moving the stick, but I dont do it and it shifts faster and smoother. Use the single clutch when you need to, don't yank on the stick when the tranny is loaded!

    Here's what I do to prevent that:
    I rest my elbow/forearm on the arm rest and move the stick out of gear with my fingers and slap the shifter knob into the palm of my hand. The palm stays stationary and acts as a stop so I don't go too far and jam it into the next gear.

    Went pretty good today .Easier for me to float loaded. Just have to work on gear recovery. All you guys input has been greatly appreciated. More seats time in this truck and I progress every second. Do like the thirteen just had to figure out the nuances of it. Shutting it down put 12 1/2 in today.
