I never have a problem playing in neutral... only has the one side switch, my 8 has the regular hi/lo on the front and the granny switch on the side, (thats what fouls me up once in a while..)

The big phony! Either a 13 or 18 that he didn't split the low side. you preselected one split.

The thought occurred to me that if a 9 speed can be converted to a 13 speed, as I did, what would be involved to make it an 18 speed? I could certainly use the splits in low range for better control on steep muddy "roads".

If they did, I've never seen it.

Pretty sure you'd have to change the aux section. There's a component in the 13 speed aux section that isn't strong enough to last when splitting in low range.Hammer166 Thanks this.
