"Spicer 1453 and 1241D=2 into 1...20 forward gears with a single stick"not4hire Thanks this. -
I miss driving mine although I only drove it to truck shows.
-
Is that the spicer trans with the blue knob and 4 position splitter?
-
A 10 speed is just a 5 speed with a hi-low range brownie on the back of the trans.
A 9 speed is a 10 speed where 5th and 6th are essentially the same ratio.
A 13 speed is a 9 speed with the ability to split (double the ratios) the top gears in half with another gear set in the brownie built into the back of the trans.
A 18 speed is a 9 speed that allows you to split all the gears instead of just the top 4/5 in the box like the 13 speed.Lepton1, Dave_in_AZ and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
Seriously...I haven't a clue.Lostkeys Thanks this.

Would love to see the shifting arm of anyone who drives this.
-
Lol. 15 speed but progressive shifting from 1st in DR to the top you'll only use 12 of them.
