    Yep, 35 years and never puked a tranny, so I'd say it's okay.

    I never use the funny gear, was told that oil didn't get to that gear on the high side. I didn't listen of course.
    Kept on using it until I cut the top shaft off, doing a shift. Just looked like you put the shaft in a chop saw.
    That was 40 yrs ago, never have used it since. The Man who told me not to use it was with me the evening I cut the main shaft off. He didn't say anything, I just had a red face for not listening to experience, and lost revenue and a major repair.
