I seriously doubt this happened at that time considering Washington was born in 1732 & died in 1799.Bob Dobalina Thanks this.

Let em fly by,. I want you slow on the mountain both ways with cold brakes. Always. Let em point and laugh at you. YOU will be the one picking up the pieces if they wreck.
Save your extinguishers for when you see actual flame or fire coming from the pads. To spray the hot pads without fire is futile. It takes hours to cool them or a fire truck with loads of water to transfer the heat and cool them.
One more gentle idea for you I give with love, never stop where possible when brakes are hot and smoking. Keep moving. The cold air flowing across the gap between pad and drum is beneficial. And protects your drum steel from getting ruined.rulonwaholla Thanks this. -
Washington at 21 and older was part of the Burgess in Williamsburg under Governor Gooch in the mid 1700's I concede I was off in the 1600's I was thinking of williamsburg itself being in existance as a capitol of Virginia under the authroity of the Crown by 1670.
Virginia's Legislature or Burgess hired Washington as a Officer under Braddock with a direct commission from Governor to prosecute a proper war against the Indians in or near the Kanawha territory. The actual activities of Washington fill about 4 3 inch thick books on my shelf and are way too much to type here. -

Agreed it is not a game. I won't dogpile on anyone who thinks so. I'll leave it to gaining experience through tears and blood to teach anyone who thinks it is a game.
My mountain work is absolutely boring. But doing the same process over and over and over for decades kept me most of the time out of trouble. I have engaged in activies now and then that were and are not safe at all. Like seeking out the max gravity speed at 132 or so by stop watch in milemarkers. But discovered there is not enough power anywhere to force a truck beyond what the earth can do to pull on it. -
I didnt mean in like a real game just a word too use but its a job an serious any little mistake could cause big problems.
I wont use the word gamex1Heavy Thanks this. -
Under drive? Aren't they all over drive?
-
Some are equipped with under drive if buyer builds it that way at factory, others are over drive.
Then there is Mack, they built a 15 speed, low direct and high. Both forward and reverse. =) -
I wouldn't drive in Canada without an 18, especially with Super-B trains.
Shifting 1D-1O-2D saves missed shifts even on the tiniest of inclines.x1Heavy Thanks this.
