He could if he wanted too. All he really needs is clothes, sleeping bag, pillow, a few basic tools, and an atlas. The lock thing could be worked out with the other truck maybe. A good old fashioned book could serve as entertainment. If he only eats once a day, eating in truck stops can be done reasonably.

Lets see the locks no because the other truck will be gone when u get back. The odds of being in the same area as the other truck are minimal. If you can keep your sanity by having a book while out then ok. I eat once a day so that works. Knock yourself out let me know how it goes. If its your only option then u could make it work.

Launch point. I'm 7/4 7/3 start in st louis and 1500 mile radius
Give or take and then they start working you back.
I love it, you are gonna get decent miles and consistent home time.
As far as slipseating its a pain, but I know when I will be home.
I did have two other drivers to slipseat with but they got local jobs, so
