I have a dd15 cascadia 564k miles. I have a scan gauge it will go blank and the spedometer tachometer drop a bit then it powers right back up. Normal gauge drops 10 15 mph. I have changed master power switch, ignition switch, pndb, starter. All battery nuts are tight.
It will do this on flat ground or going up a hill. No codes. Head lights stay on. It dies it a couple of times in 4 to 8 hours. Today it did it twice back to back. 15 seconds apart. I thought that was it. Then it ran good for another hour until I'm parked.
Is it the cpc 4 module?
14 cascadia loses gauges no codes

its most likely you main fuse box that's under the glove box. I had the same issue with mine, gauges would die or they wouldn't sweep when you turned the key on sometimes.
LoneRanger Thanks this. -
Possibly a loose fuse, bad fuse, or bad connector on that slot. fuse box is in glove box.

I got it scanned again. Cpc4 codes came up. So I'm going to get it reballed and then figure out what to do.LoneRanger Thanks this.

Check the fuse before you take it in. Could save you hours of diagnostics and money if its not needed.77fib77 Thanks this. -
Does it have the maxi-fuses located under cab below drivers door? Check for corrosion there as well. I don't recall what year they moved them, but something to look for.

Like on the pndb? Those are some fuses. I only checked the fuses on the fire wall in the engine bay. I already dropped off the CPC4 to get reballed so it's kind of there already.IH9300SBA Thanks this.
