14 hour rule

    If you can't get any job done within those 14 hours then somethings up!! Just as it's NOT ok to haul an overweight load. That's why we have logs in the first place to stop all of this skullduggery. I've been close to running out of hours a couple of times recently and I only have to blame myself. Best to stick to 12 hours and have that safety cushion of the remaining time to safely get back to the terminal.

    why do Drivers, let dispatchers tell them what to do illegaly? Why do some drivers do it, even though it could end in a violation to a driver, as well as go onto the PSP/USIS Report?
    Drivers need to grow some gonads and stand up to dispatchers.
    The Driver should have no problem getting another driving job, if there really is a shortege. As long as you have a record of whats said between you and the dispatcher, (take a picture of the qc msgs) you won't have a problem getting another job.

    Most phones can record a conversation during a call also. Make them aware of that.
