14 liter detroit century HELP heat issues

    When you clean the debris from your radiator, it's better if you can separate the radiator from the air cooler and the a/c condensor. then blow it out with air, being careful not to bend any of the fins. Otherwise you just blow it out of one system into the other. Your temps are way too high. Keep driving like that and you're asking for trouble.

    I power wash radiator not the others yet might have put them apart

    If you have access to Detroit calibration tools 4.5, you can adjust the radiator fan - on and off temperature to your likes. I had adjust many Detroits fan temp to start at 193 F and stop on 190F. In Australia they even install visco fans like these on a high end Volvo's and they never overhead.

    Really sounds like good idea update. Both of my heater core went out in less than a week don't know what's causing it does anybody have an idea why happening?
