Does a warning still show up on the PSP as a failed inspection? That might explain why he's having a hard time finding companies to take him.

Warning is worse than a ticket. You have the same results just can't fight a warning. You think it's a good thing getting off with warning but your not. Just had this talk with safety dept over a drivers app.

A warning for speeding DOES show up in your CSA score, probably why people are rejecting him. It’s showing up when they pull his up.

And as someone stated, a warning sucks as it’s basically the officer acting as judge, jury, and executioner and right then and there, you’re “guilty” on paper. A ticket can be thrown out or reduced in court, no such luck with a warning citation.

Still shows on what record? and how is it listed? ... points?

What state did this infraction occur in and what state is the CDL through? What type of law enforcement issued the "warning"? and was there a CMV inspection involved?

I was issued a speed warning several years ago in small TX town (6 over in 45 IIRC) by a local. I had a TX CDL but driving my personal vehicle - and it's not listed anywhere.

FWIW he only gave me a written warning because he noted the CDL and didn't want to cause me problems down the road. He was a cool local cop if you ask me. A strong wind was blowing at my back and I was just driving faster than I realized leaving the tiny town and he seemed to be okay with this argument.

Moral of this story, make sure if you get pulled over for going 15 over you are officially cited. o_O

Really no such thing as a warning in a cmv unless it’s from a cop that is not dot and very few exist. Warning equates to csa points on your record for 3 years. Good luck ma’am I wish y’all the best.

Na,Na,Na Na na...........Can;t just "Do that" Even if he was granted authority-He Could Not Drive-

Yeah,I know-when we became bombarded with the Eastern European explosion of debutants- They had no Desire to "Lease on" or drive for a US company- doesn't fit their Work Ethics.

Because they are Harder Workers and want our freedoms...But not out Laws... Very true- Hence why 90% of them have authority.

Now,back to the 15 over- As I Do have a soft spot In my heart for most new guys (I enjoy helping them through the tough stages) I Don't have any sympathy for a 15 over...

Why? Because Most states have a MORE than reasonable speed limit(Assuming he was on the interstate)

I Could see if We all were still 55 MPH limit- not the case anymore-And If He was doing 80 plus in a 65- GOOD FOR HIM......No Escuse for going like that in a CMV- this isn't 1977-Where you screamed the 2 stroke Jimmy listening to "Crazy on you" with a blonde doing a Lines in the Jump seat.
