16 hour rule??

So.. I think... If I have started and stopped in the same place for the last 5 days and been within my 14, I can use a 16 hour rule (not exceeding 11 driving). I had the last 5 days off, so can i use my 16 today? I documented it in my log. I was stuck at shipper for 6.5 hours. bla bla bla.....
If I am wrong on this and you would like to explain it, PLEASE try to make it easy to understand. Thanks for the input.

I would add that not only do you have to start and stop in the same place every day to be legal to do that, but you also have to not had any violations the previous period.
