I had lots of time to sleep and get paid for it when I was doing tanker work. Water truck on a frac was the easiest. I sat there all night and maybe got out 5 or 6 times when they did a zone.

Exactly what my brother is doing in North Dakota driving a vac truck 32.50 an hour 14-16 hours a day sometimes more but sleeps for hours of it while getting paid he said he might get out of the truck 5-6 times a day for 20 minutes. His last check was $6000 for 2 weeks

thing with oilfield is, there is a retarded amount of sitting, Im in a daycab for a smaller local company and easily spend 5 hours a day at security gates waiting. Thats why we bill by the hour and get payed by the hour. Its a long day if i put in more that 200km.
