On my Peoplenet it will continue to show the 11/14. When I get down to no hours left it will show me in violation. But at the end of the day it will ask me if I want to use the 16 hour rule, Then the violation goes away. I can't use it in my sleeper truck though. Company policy, I think.

not to my understanding. The 11 is a hard stop. So around 10 you want to be looking for a pit stop.

I'm local so that rarely happens. But I know my lane well enough to push my 11 and 60 to the limit. Worse case I go get some cans a2 miles away and make 12 bucks at the end of my shift.

I have people net too. You can ask for the exception before hand with the little line box drop down.
It will add the hours of you have them so if you are unsure you may get that Xtra ten minutes to get you parked.

However, am not sure if you certify it but make it back before the 14 is over if it still counts towards your one a week exception.
