You want CDL training & flatbed with NO contract? Just a loan agreement you can pay off even if you leave the company. Swift will do it, if you meet the requirements.

 

What about white mountain trucking, I see those guys everywhere now.

 

Before signing the deal with Swift, contact Ashley Distribution. They bought Wilson Logistics dry van division and opened their own cdl school. Ashley drivers make around $90G a year. That's the amount a few of their drivers have posted on here.

 

They must have had a serious price increase then. Was around $3,900 loan agreement while back. But, their version of lodging is = 3 - 4 people in one room @ $500.00 + per head.

 

I did the Swift thing. It all worked out for me. Originally only planned on staying that first year, maybe two. But, found I like driving for them and I've stayed.
As a mega, I think they are one of the better options. But, with any mega, they only do a minimum amount of training. So, you have be on your toes to learn as much as you can as quickly as you can. You simply aren't spoon feed. You're expected to engage in the training and give it serious effort.
I always looked at it this way, I'm the one who wanted to learn how to be a professional driver. So, it is my responsibility to learn what I need and if I don't know something, ask and put effort into learning it.
