Today I got busted for 16mph over in Cali. I 5south last hill was past pyrmid lake. I got ticket of course. First speeding ticket in my entire life. Was I actually going 71 mph? I don't know i was passing a very slow truck and i I was going down the hill I saw him hiding behind bushes in the middle. I instantly slowed down knowing I was going over 60mph.

First thing I did was call about 20 different lawyers in the area and got the same answer don't tell your carrier it's not on your record. Send us money and will do everything we can to make it go away. No guarantees

i have not told my carrier. I just assume there gonna cut my lease no matter what. I'm under a really good paying load and hoping I can complete it before the shut me down.

I had no intent of speeding. No cars were around and I get i broke the law but man. The cop never seemed like it was a big deal and I didn't know better. I asked for the ticket.

Till I looked up this violation after the fact I never realized how serious this is.

I called the police offers station trying to get ahold of the sergeant out of desperation Hopefully i get a response.

sometimes being a calm guy and not fighting or arguing with people can bite you in the butt. I could of possibly got out of the 15over ticket.

Anxiety is at all time high right now.

I get I was speeding but, this just don't seem right.

Did you get a inspection also or just ticket?
If just a ticket, then it will not show until after conviction. A good lawyer can get it continued for months and hopefully reduced.

Arguing would not have gotten you out of it. Calling the station isn’t going to help either. A few C notes properly placed may have worked or really back fired. His mind was made up when he turned the lights on. I get your in what you feel is a good spot. However it’s a speeding ticket. It’s not murder charges, certainly not the end of the world. If your a competent hand you will always have good paying work offered to you. It may involve things you don’t care for but that’s the price of ridin fast

The company will be able to see the inspection as soon as it gets entered into the system. It tells you on the inspection form how long you have to turn it into the company.

It doesn't say anything about fmcsa or a how long I have to turn it to the company... all it has is california high patrol information, information about the carrier and violation

    Roadside Inspection Reports – § 396.9
Any driver who receives a roadside inspection report must deliver it to his/her employing motor carrier. The motor carrier official must examine the roadside inspection report. Within 15 days after the inspection, the motor carrier must sign the report to certify that all violations have been corrected, and return it to the address indicated.
It’s been a while since I was inspected. The carrier has 15 days to sign and return.

    It's driver/vehical examination report

It doesn't say anything at all about having them sign it or respond or anything. Nor do I remember anyone telling Me about doing so

Blank out the personal/company info and post a pic. I haven’t been to Cali in 10 years and last time I was pulled over In Cali was the mid-90’s. Maybe someone can help decipher what the inspection form is.
