16mph over in Cali

I just thought you might have only got a speeding ticket with the name of the co. you are driving for on it not separate truck inspection report with a speeding violation written on it? Just trying to calling the lawyers that OOIDA tells their members to use, call Road Law in the morning when you pull over and they can send a local lawyer to court with you?

 

I second the road law advice. They aren’t cheap but usually effective

 

I definitely would lawyer up because that’s a wreckless driving citation..anything 15 or over with cdl is wreckless driving..

Driving 15 over in a cmv is classified same as reckless driving

Lawyer up..because if you’re convicted of this 16 over, 1more in short time your cdl is suspended for minimum I believe 60days…i would recommend trying to get it reduced to below 15…

 

If you were going over grapevine which I suspect the speed limit is 35 for trucks..chp enforcement is pretty strong because of prior incidents..

 

You need to give that inspection to your company. They need to acknowledge it. They’ll fire you for sure if you hide it.
