Well just saw the vids(on you tube) on the latest cascadias..Same crap with more tech #### in it..Mirror arms are basically same..Showed a snider truck and no sign of cb antennas so guess what..Back inside..lol
-
I didn't want it mounted out front off the mirror. Defeats the aerodynamics.
They do make watertight grommets.bored silly Thanks this. -
I hear ya these crapcadia trucks are just not mount/antenna friendly.......they suck
-
I figured your stinger was very short !!!
-
I agree
-
Longer the shaft the short the stinger to a point..The ant itself is around 58" i think..Both analyzers all say its about right..If i go up or down in length it moves my resonance way up or down the band to the point its not good..I could always try it and see but swrs at one end will be perfect anf other end will be way up to a 1.7 and above..My resonce will be down around 26600 area or 27,500 area..
I see the issue but just cant grasp it sorta speak..Im on the cusp of it i think..Last edited: Sep 24, 2016

Its your truck an all but out back is worse..To much signal blockage but the #,s on an analyzer show ok..I tested it with a field strength meter..Got sweet efff all out front or back but as soon as i hit between trk cab and trailer nose my meter went hard right..So hope your pullin a flat bed..Last edited: Sep 23, 2016
uncleal13 Thanks this. -
Ya, it works pretty good forward, picked up a guy yesterday 13 miles ahead, didn't try to talk to him though. In behind only about a half mile or so. I only wanted it to hear what's going on up ahead, especially with winter coming.
I pull hopper bottom. -
