Thanks for the links, Weeble! I've seen TP but didn't know too much about them other than they were based outta Central Point. I'm not averse to reefer work, just haven't done a bunch. but I know when the motor goes to sleep on continuous it is TROUBLE.Weeble Kneeble Thanks this.

This one is local, home-daily work in and around Springfield....looks like day-shift duty, so you'd be home at night with the new bride.....

I worked linehaul out of Minneapolis for 2 years. If I ever sold my truck, its probably one of the first calls I would make. They always treated me good.Flat Earth Trucker and Chinatown Thank this.

Have you thought about working for Daimler. I would venture to guess that it would not happen because they would probably require more experience but...........I think they are having hiring issues so it wouldn't hurt.
Union shop. They have local jobs on Swan Island and also their test fleet, which run loads to El Paso and Charlotte. -

Added to my notebook.Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.

Add it to your notebook if you want to but I wouldn't send just any warm body with a CDL there. They're an old school company and they wouldn't put up with a lot of the whiners, incompetents, self involved malcontents and culls that drift through here looking for work.
If a guy can truly drive and he knows how to handle himself in an off-road environment and if he can get along with people he might have a shot with that outfit. I don't mean to make them sound like ogres, they're not. The company people I know there are good at what they do, handle their people well, and make a real effort to be fair.
They just don't have to deal with a lot of the things that the megas take for granted...and they won't.Cattleman84, Chinatown, Flat Earth Trucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
Good advice! I'll remember that.Cattleman84 Thanks this.
