Surely you would have proof of this unicorn 6nz with 2519 torque to the wheels right? after all, this is he internet and we can be anyone. As for 702hp, everyone claims 700-800 hp with 6nz when its all bs becuase they thre a 800hp marine cam in it. But 2519 torque to the wheels, im gonna have to see some credentials and surely you have some if you made that power.. And with that kinda power, im thinking crap ton of boost lag with that big turbo so im doubting your gonna break any driveline by accidently tromping on the fuel pedal in low gear. You can eat a sandwich before it makes power becuase how long it takes for that turbo to spool and correct you pedal mash. Its a 6nz diesel that takes time to make power and certainy not 2600ft lb torque, so the power isnt there on demand. Its not a supercharged hemi

I don't even bother with low gear unless there's a hill.

I mean. Put the clutch out and a split 1/2 second later you're already ready for gear ONE and barely moving.

i currently have a 379 with a 15 and 2 speed rears. because of the 2 speed i rarely use the low side of the 15. when its time to replace things though, i will be putting an 18 in her. can't beat being versatile. i run mountain west, on and off road, you'll never convince me having more gear options isn't better. funny i learned to drive a 15 right out the gate, then the next two trucks had 13's, then a two 18's. the 13 is fine for lighter stuff on road, but anything over 80 or lots of time off road and I'll take a 15 or an 18 all day. like having all the gears down low to get rolling. its a diesel, not a civic. start wherever it moves without any fuel and work your way up. no need to cob on it until high range. easier on parts, clutches, etc.
