    Next lesson - what you hear is sometimes right and sometimes wrong. As a professional driver, you are required to KNOW the regs. The cops will not accept a “someone told me this was ok” excuse. Read the regs that apply, not just about license, but safe loading, axle weights, bridge law, safety check every day, etc. It all matters.

    Your age will be your biggest challenge. Insurance and the fact that some companies will look at you and think "He's just a kid prone to accidents." You will prob have to bite the bullet and work for a local small company till you get to 21-23 years old.
