'59 Pete with '66 Hood, small cam 400 RT12515 3:70 0n 11 24.5. Ran on my own PUC. Subhauled for several companies and one account of my own. Ran this truck until Sept 1991. Scan_20170425 (2).jpg

Cool old horse. '66 must have been the 1st year for the wide front. The truck in my avatar was my '72 small window 359, 260w.b., 400 Cummins, 13, 3:70's. Last year for the small window. Selling it was 3rd dumbest thing I did in my life. You can probably figure out the first 2 things.:biggrin_25512:

    Nice!

It takes me back a little bit. We had some late 70's petes a time or two which cemented my love for them. I'll say that I did not get into a pete too much in my time. It is what it is.

    201 Thanks this.

Don't feel bad, laddie, of all the company trucks I drove ( 20-30 maybe, IDK) I never drove a Pete until I got my own. I'd drive nothing but now.
