    Originally speced with Cummins NH 220. 743cid 220 hp. 2100 rpm 550 ft. lbs. of torque at 1600 rpm. Normally asperated ( non turbo)
    R96 is the original 10 speed road ranger trans.
    DC means Diesel setback front axle 75 is the Model series and T means tandem tractor. 51699 should mean it is the 51699th build of that model I believe. However that has been proven to be a little foggy on some Model series and it could mean that is the 51699th chassis build at that plant across all model series. There are some other guys in the ATHS that are Autocar historians and know the numbers very well. There is no way to decifer the exact build date from serial numbers back then without that knowledge or resource.
