I did that when I first installed the valve. Truck would only build air if I put my foot on the brake and would leak air from the exhaust port on the foot valve at rest. Thanks for the tip hopefully I won't forget for next time around

Good reminder to take pictures first. I like the telephone wire trick. Got a bunch of it. Changing foot valve today, or tomorrow. Same exact valve @JoeyJunk posted. Wondering if I’ll need anything else, o rings, grease on push rod, or anything to look out for? Pedal/brakes stick when applied. Quick jab releases them. Happens worse in cool weather.

The ph wire or colored zip ties are a great idea
The shipping tags I was talking about are what I use when doing something like a off frame rebuild
Simply because right now just for the engine & trans removal I have used 58 tags .. theres not that many distinguishable colors if you look close you can see the tags on the hoses and harnessesCarguy94 and Rideandrepair Thank this.
