That's a great idea. Make sure you vent down to fill up cyclinders. Then vent up. Inspect the safety locks located on the side of cyclinders. Should be a cable close to the pump . For release of safety locks. Keep in mind that old of a truck probably don't have the built in safety stop. In case of hydraulic leak. Keep body parts clear until locked up in matainence position. Did you find the maintenance manual on line at Ohio hyd power?

If you did not notice or it is gone it should have a square u-bolt, on a chain or in a clip, on the drivers side hydraulic cylinder. The top of the cylinder has a slot in the housing and round tube over it has a series of holes. Putting the u-bolt in in them is the safety.
When you replace all those lines it needs to be bled out. On some COE's it was possible for the cab to have nothing to stop it, with air in the lines, when it reaches the balance point. I have seen some scary moments up and down. Heard of one the got away and broke the cab mounts at the end of travel. Cab landed face forward on the floor. Saw a 4070B catch a guy between the step and the steer tire.
If it does not have a safety latch put a load lock or piece of pipe between floor and bottom of cab. If your not sure about going over put a chain and come a long between back of cab and a frame x-member. You can control its decent & or pull it back.
Some trucks have safety in the cylinders that could lock up and do screwy stuff.

My Astro only has 1 Hydraulic tilt cylinder on the right side inside the frame and has the horse shoe lock pin their for it still. I thought their was going to be two tilt cylinders when removing the lines and only 1 line runs to the driver side to release the cab locks.

Just checked in my GM shop books for the Astro and its right. Only 1 tilt cylinder and 1 line running to driver side to release the cab lock on that side.

It is nice to have all the factory shop and parts catalogs for your vehicles. I own 3 vehicles and have all the factory shop/parts books for them. repair will usually come in 3 books and parts catalog comes in one 6-7" thick book. I've already found lots of parts for my Astro just by looking at the parts number and then searching online. Most parts will be third party now.

I stand corrected! Have not jacked the cab up on or driven one of those since about 1990. 362's post about safety triggered some thoughts I hoped to spare you from. My wife does not understand why I can remember what happened 40 years ago and cannot recall what she asked me to do yesterday. Maybe I should be concerned now? Keep on keeping on and good luck with that.

Got the windshield in today for the driver side and also got the Classic plate for the truck along with the title back after 3 months of waiting. Their seems to be still mess-ups on the title. Body type is marked TK and not TT now, Fuel Type still marked as Gasoline. Also not sure if I am getting a plate registration sticker or not, didn't get one but maybe sent later on. The plate came with a Class 11 Truck weight sticker for windshield. Been so long since I got a new vehicle so not sure when I get a plate sticker but got the Registration card.
