Props to you for putting this much effort and time into an Astro, I owned one and I have to say that was the most pitiful excuse for a cabover I have owned.

Good luck selling the truck, been trying to sell my 362 Pete. For the same reasons. A lot of people are just tire kickers. hang in there.

I decided to just keep the Astro. Everyone said to keep it. I was looking for a 362 before I got this but are hard to find around here. If anything someone will strip the motor out and scrap the truck now a days. I had 3 people look at it a year or so ago when on craigslist and all they wanted was the motor and was going to scrap the truck.

Way I look at it that the likely hood of you finding something that you would like when you have the time will be difficult, might as well hang onto it since it isn't eating anything but space.

I only get weekends to work on my K100 and W900A but I manageD to do an engine swap in the 900, took me a long while to get it done but if I had sold it I wouldn't have been able to find another one in as good of shape that wouldn't cost me 4 times what I gave for that one.

Got a brand new Hydraulic pump and installed the new lines. Drained both the fuel tanks and put on the new fuel filter. Just need to change the oil and get the batteries.

When lifting the cab the driver side lock wasn't releasing but is now since I sprayed it. The cab will rise up and seems to want to go left from the back standing when almost lifting out of the lock base. So did not jack past it until know if it is normal or not. Also the glass windshield I got in a while back came in cracked, So need to find a place to make a new one.

For the cab lift, I just want to go 5-8" just to get the battery door off witch was main reason to get the lift to work. I mostly been able to do any engine work from just going underneath and standup under the cab.

It is not normal. Usually comes from physical damage, jack knife or bumped up front. Could be seized front cab bushing as it has been parked or bushing worn out. Not a reason to not jack it up. Had some we had to pull to the side with a come-a-long to get to latch.
You did not ask but those are tube type tires on there. I would definitely buy rims and go tubeless before I bought tires.
