1993 Cummins N14 ECM issues

    yeah that's a good idea because i was thinking the worst but the shop is HD truck repair in Jackson,GA next to the blue beacon really nice guys

    When I got to the same point you have about splicing wires to get power on my 99 N14. I changed the engine harness. That solved all the sensor issues, at the time. Now when a code comes on. I know it is a real sensor problem and not a frayed wire or bad connection.
    It is a lot less stress driving.
    Also I was told the shorting of power wires in the harness could have a negative result with the ECM.
    Hope you solved your problem.
