Man with the dump bed. Howdy, I also have a Navistar mod 4700, 1996, with the dt466e. I've had many problems with my hydro boost. My mechanic brought up several and installed the wrong ones twice. (My trk is a IH rollback wrecker). Learned the hard way. They look identical except the length of the rod running thru the firewall to the brake pedal was half an inch longer. Therefore when brake's were applied within a 1/2 mile, truck locked, let cool and back home. Had to r&r rotors, calipers and pads. Very expensive. When I realized he just wanted to save a buck and not buy the proper boost it was to late for me. I installed the right one but now having a hard time with the brake lights turning off and the accumulator motor while trk is turned off. I'll get it before I lose two batteries. I have brand new reconditioned Head for a dt466e. Came out of a 02 dump bed I can't use on my 96 rollback. All wrapped in plastic. Paid $800. For the work done. Will sell it for for $500.
