1999 vnl780 throttle problem. need help or ideas.

    Have a 99 with the Volvo engine, truck loses the pedal. Been to Volvo, they replaced the pedal but it still does the same thing. I believe that this is a ground issue. Wonder if anyone else has had the same problem. Could use some new ideas.

    they replaced the pedal or the TPS (throttle position sensor)? an example of what losing the pedal incurs please.

    I would recommend running new wires from pedal to ecm

    in 98-01 there were D12A, D12C, ISX, N14, Series 60, ISM, M11.;;;

    some engines are with VECU, some not
