That jeep isn't near long enough for what you want and it has way too much neck in it to do any good so it will load the jeep way before the drives.
-
A shorter neck will only get me trouble on the close couple distance for CA
Seems like a no win -
Without a longer neck on your trailer I believe it is a no win situation.
-
You are right about that but should work for a 3 axle tractor. Will WY count that as a 4 axle group or 2 2 axle groups?
-
If I can get an 8 foot spread they'll count it as a tandem tandem and give me 84,000 otherwise I can only get 74,000 on it. I don't kno what CO is going to allow I've got to research that but really it's a moot point as I only need to get 58 to 65 on the front and I'll be golden. I could buy a 4 axle truck but I'm being cheap.

I can get you a bad deal on 14 WS 4 axle.....
No seriously I really need a solution to my CA problem
Too much time at home this month, the wife gets back from Mexico at the end of the weekkptnt2016 Thanks this. -
The best solution, is the one your trying to avoid...it's called a California 9 axle...
Depending how bad your wanting, I may have one for sale.
2002 Knight 70ton CA 2+2+2.
Have 2 mainlowbeds, both 20'. One 102"W deck with swing out outriggers, one rail/beam
1-10'L rail section
1-7'L combo section (front 4' rail, back 3' 102"W deck (outriggers on deck portion)
1-5'L 102"W deck section with swing out outrigegers
2-12"L X 102" pontoons (8'6" outriggers for the rail)
Trailer has never been rolled over or twisted, still builds and comes apart by hand with a good forklift operator...Rontonio Thanks this. -
Thanks Hammer!
Would love your trailer and it is what I would desire in a perfect world. As with anything there is always a but.
I am in over $80k on my existing trailer.
55t mechanical 2 axle with cross members on 12" centers
10' rail deck insert
29' well with new outriggers
2 flip axles plus spreader
It an older trailer but works well for me. I live in Colorado and prefer to run west if I can.
