2 booted from school

Thats awful,but what were they thinking?

 

Day 1 at the school I went to half the class room emptied out when they said "today we will be giving drug tests if you fail it will go on your dac and you will never drive a semi ever. So if you studied for this test its in your best interest to leave."

 

Guy that used to work where I do was on drugs (dont know what for sure) and got pulled for his random drug test. If you fail to show up for your appointment, you are fired. So wise guy goes home (close enough to DR office) and has is 4 year old son pee in a cup. He then empties that sample into the cup at the DR office.

After multiple tests at the lab, they determined there was no way that urine was from a ~40 year old dude. See ya later..

 

mmm i should have reread my post before i hit the reply button. there should have been, seemed like nice family guy's.

sorry for the misleading post, and all of you are right we don't need people high on anything driving these big rigs.

 

Sounds like they were scaring them off before they had to pay for the test.

Those guys in the 1st post probably did fail a drug test if it was the next day. But it is law the MRO call them and ask for an explanation before telling the company. I wonder if that happened?

If you go for your physical and you see someone leaving immediately. They probably failed for too much sugar in their urine. Either they are a diabetic or don't know it yet. I seen one guy failed and he kept insisting he ate a whole bunch of pancakes and syrup that morning. They gave him another chance the next day and he failed again. He still stuck to the pancake story even out the door.

I seen other guys fail the blood pressure and get a ride home too. I failed three times one orientation and this is when I was younger. They were writing out the disqualification and I insisted on another nurse and blood pressure thingy. I passed with flying colors then. The first nurse was a green horn.

 

thats ridiculous. you're gonna tell me smokin a little weed is any worse then havin a few beers? come on, grow up. weed is nothing.

 

Agree, when was the last time you read a wife was beat by her husband high on pot, among many other terrible problems related to alcohol?...

 

yeah seriously. personally i dont do it, i dont drink either. its weed, if you've demonizing weed you've probably never smoked it before. it really doesnt do much to you. i'm on vicodin right now to help me sleep cuz i got a real bad throat infection from having mono, these things blow weed out of the water and if i get a random drug test and fail i'm 100% ok just because a doctor told me it was ok. i dont get it, if i failed for weed, i'd be fired because "what if i was high when i was working" but if i fail a piss test for doctor prescribed vicodin its ok, because theres no way i could drive a truck on vicodin, somehow magically i cant drive if a doctor gave me the drugs.

my personal belief on drugs is if it doesnt interfere with your working capabilities then it shouldnt matter if you do them. do our law makers have to take piss tests? cops? fire fighters? nope, only if something happened and they question it. so why do we have to? as far as i'm concerned its not right. what i do on my time away from work is my own business.

 

I agree 100% what you do on your own time is your own business as long as it does not affect you during work. Plus I would rather work around someone on a piece of heavy equipment who is stoned than someone who had been on a bender on alcohol till 3 a.m. and had a wicked hangover.

 

Only problem with that is, most people who test positive for weed will test positive for other things. Thats just speaking from personal experience and all the other druggies I knew. Know that I just didn't do weed alone. JMHO

And since we're talking about that, a pox on all the jack ##### that says weed is a gateway drug. They are so full of it!!! My gate way was alcohol.
