very broad generalization as 2 of my dirtbike buddies smoke weed 2 or 3 times while we are out riding and they are very fast out there. and FYI, riding a dirtbike takes much more focus and control then driving a truck.

OK, so its legal to smoke pot in a CVM in MA? Of course not, so you gained nothing in reference to this thread. You are posting in a thread about smoking pot as a CDL holder. Remember? Or did you have another agenda? Politics perhaps? You like to mention the founding fathers~but only when it promotes your view. You get on the soap box and holler about "YOUR" rights. You or your dope smoke'n buddys have no "right" to smoke dope while driving. Its still against the law and your still wrong.

WHERE THE F DID I EVER SAY ANYTHING ABOUT SMOKING WEED AND DRIVING A TRUCK!? you're a clown. i stated they drove high, DROVE A CAR, and were fine, however 2 friends that drove drunk crashed, and one died. I NEVER ONCE STATED WE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO DRIVE HIGH. MY stance is you should be allowed to smoke weed or do whatever you want when you're OFF THE CLOCK so long as it doesnt interfere with you working SAFELY. i've said that more then once in this thread but apparently reading isnt one of your strong suits, however assuming things and not reading seem to be 2 things going for you. i'm not gonna respond to you again. i'm talking about my rights? i'm talking about the rights of every single american in this country. you're such an idiot. wow, i've never been fired up over an internet post before this one. unbelievable. i'm fired up about my rights when it promotes my view. hows this one for you. i'm FOR gay marriages, if it were up to me, THERE WOULDNT EVEN BE A MARRIAGE LAW, A CHURCH WOULD RECOGNIZE IT, BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO BUSINESS'S TELLING PEOPLE WHAT TO DO IN THEIR PERSONAL LIVES!!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD!! this has NOTHING to do with MY rights. AND ONCE AGAIN, I DO NOT SMOKE WEED! but i already covered that reading and assuming are your two strong points.

    Uhm no not really.

See when the dope heads screw up and split their pelvis on a tree it only effects them. When it takes an extra second for their chemically altered mind (all scientific data and studies will bare out the slowed reflexes) to realize they are jackknifing their 73 foot long rig and they kill an innocent person they can enjoy their "freedom" in a dark cell with their new boyfriend.

Same as the person that alters it with a couple of "nerve settlers" with the boys after work.

Driving Under the Influence covers a broad range of substances.

As a CDL holder thats not legal. Untill you change the law your "stance" is illegal. You can never win an arguement with your views on how things should be.

uh, yes it is. you're saying everyone that smokes weed is incapable of functioning and the truth is much further from that. and if someone was high and driving and killed someone, lock em up. we can go back and forth on whether or not someone can operate a truck high, i'm never going to say its ok to do. thats not what i'm advocating. the only reason i bring up operating dirtbikes and cars with friends that are high, is they do it just fine, meanwhile if someone is drunk they most likely will be swerving, driving irregular, and driving very dangerously. what i advocate is the right to be able to do what you want when you're not on the clock. just like if you punch out of work every single day and go get hammered black out drunk its perfectly legal, but if you took 3 hits off a bowl which wont even get you very high, you're going to lose your job if you take a drug test the next day. i think thats very hypocritical, and very wrong. judgments play a huge role in this, common sense, but it seems like america has forgotten to have common sense when approaching issue's like personal liberties.
