2 booted from school

As I said in previous posts most truckers in the 70's and 80's did some kind of drug whether it was pot,speed, or downers to help them go to sleep from doing speed. If you can honestly say you have never did any drugs then I apoligize. I could care less what color you are has nothing to do with the discussion.

 

That's what my step dad said too when he lost his CDL. I know he was full of ####. No sympathy from me. Problem is he still smokes. Been waiting for my mom to catch on to it. He wonder's why he's not welcome in my home because of it.

a much better anaology would be "reading books are boring" when you dont read books. not COMMON sense things. everyone with half a brain knows going 120mph isnt very safe. either way you wont see the point. i'm not trying to convince you or anyone else on this board to accept smoking weed, no one is telling you everyone should be smoking weed, not up for debate is that it is an invasion of privacy and goes against what the founding fathers wanted for this country.

 

second hand smoke is the same as a toke. don't do it. Simple choice!

 

What is wrong with going 120 mph....that is how fast they drive on the autobahn in Germany???

 

Apparently the folks at Aston Martin would not agree with you, as you can drive their car up to 130 mph.....

As soon as we got in the car, our driver asked us the fastest we had gone, to which we replied, "118." We were more than fine with our record, but he was not and was determined to beat that. He told us that the fastest you could go on the bowl was around 130 MPH, but that didn't stop him from going over that. At one point, we were going 160 MPH and we thought we were going to die. We looked over and the driver was as calm and collected as could be. He acted as if it was nothing, but I guess when you do this for a living, it isn't a big deal to drive that fast on a regular basis.

When it was our turn, we got up to 100 MPH pretty fast, but the driver kept telling us to go faster. We were sweating it a little since we were pretty much driving on the side of a wall, but we did it and got up to 120 MPH. As if that wasn't crazy enough, he then told us to take our hands off the wheel. We refused. He kept telling us to do and it, and we finally looked at him and screamed, "Are you ######## crazy?" He couldn't help but laugh at how horrified we were, but he made us do it and soon we were driving 120 on the track with no hands.

The car hardly budged, almost like it was driving itself, and we then understood why it's probably a good idea to take the performance-driving course if you're fortunate enough to afford an Aston Martin. There's no way you can see what this car can really do on a normal road.

We still can't believe what an amazing opportunity we were given and how incredibly cool the people at Aston Martin were for letting us behind the wheel.

HOOSIERHUNTER - Saw too many SPUN out on bennies , West coast turn arounds ecte , had 2 good friends have heart attacks , 1 fatal from excess use of them to get the LOADS run. I never touched them.

O.M.D your an IDIOT , no I never SMOKED weed , nor have I tried to walk on open water or grabbed 600 Volts not to know the dangers of doing it .

 

See now, Mr. OMD, you missed my point entirely...I was making an analogy that someone could have a valid expectation about the outcoume of a certain behaviour without engaging in that behaviour....YOU SEEMED TO MAKE THE POINT THAT NO ONE COULD JUDGE THE EFFECTS OF WEED UNLESS THEY TRIED IT.....SORRY...YOU BE WRONG....I am not trying to convince you or anyone to not try weed....go ahead and do it....smoke it till it kills you if you want....I just don't care!!! I luv to see those photos of people that have smoke a lot, and they are all dried up and krinkly and hardly able to breathe, have you seen those....they are really awesome. Oh, and you should see their lungs....wow...they are all black and hard, just don't work so good.

I really do not care what you do in your private life...you can sit in a freezer all day for all I care.

You just need to realize that common sense might just prevail if you look at the history of smoking. Does smoking cigarettes cause some people to die...gee...I don't know and I can't even guess because I have not smoked cigarettes, is your thinking. I would disagree, cause I can read....I can read scietific studies showing how people die from smoking cigarettes. And if you need more info on the scientific method, just Google it and you can read all about it. That is my one and only point of my analogies.

So, how about we have a few beers and toke up on some weed?

 

Flatbed, now that there is funny....Darwin didn't seem to need to fly a kite in a thunderstorm to prove any of his theories either....oh ####, that was Ben Franklin.

I was wiring up a 3-way circuit in my garage the other day, and had 3 lights on the circuit and was just starting to hook up the traveler wire, and I forgot to shut off the #### circuit...so here I am holding the white wire in one hand and the black wire in the other hand, and feeling a little bit of a buzz in my arms....holy ####....I let go of those wires fast....must have been only 30 or so volts going through it cause the 110 bulb only glowed a bit when I was testing it earlier...think I got it wired right now. I guess you can now say I am not the brightest bulb in the box.
