Considering the ANGLE of the equipment with the Tractor seemingly "in a hole", digging out would have been a waste of effort to only get mired up again IF ANY MOVEMENT OCCURRED.

I did that 2 days in a ditch full of snow in the Mega Storm 1990 , it looked like part of the parking lot , New Salem ND , i 94 was impassable, i felt like a idiot in front of 100 people sleeping on the floor and pool tables.
Fought that storm all the way from Butte and did that , lessoned learned. -
