Shoot I live in the country, on back roads. Our neighbors called FHP about my truck being parked by the road. FHP shows up, then proceeds to tell our neighbors that the truck is on private property and they need to deal with it.

Our neighbors hate us, I think its just because of our dogs.

I worked for an outfit called Dispatch Service and we had several "pairs' of KW's... one with the license plate and one with the registration... they both had the same serial number.

We would also buy a new trailer tag each year (different color) and put the paid sticker on the tractor. Then we'd buy a quarterly registration (Jan-Mar) for the tractor. We'd put the paid trailer stickers on the tractors... the trailer cost $18/year... the tractor was $1280/year. Since we bought the 1st quarter registration for $320.00 we still saved $900 bucks... I was the only driver, in the years I worked there, that got a ticket for no trailer sticker!

Take a look at the Cf truck and it's string of plates....
