Here's an idea. Wet roads and falling temps? Slow down! If I would have to guess I'm going to say 20 of the 30 vehicles had no real reason to be on icy roads.
Saw a few wreckers “working the block” along I-57 near Charleston and along I-55 between New Madrid and Hayti. At least half of the trucks they were pulling out were jackknifed.
