Cmon guys and gals... this is not a circus. brash comments are not needed. No matter the circumstances a driver lost his life and that needs to be the main concern. A family is without its provider, father, husband, brother, son....

Very sad when something like this happens. And all those with wise ### comments well, at any given time you could be in a construction zone doing a safe speed, 4 ways on and all, you just never know. a sad lost at 42 years not old enough to be gone, but old enough to leave a young family behind.

Yop, life sucks at times when you can't control what happens around you. We work in a VERY dangerous environment. Honestly, I don't think most drivers really comprehend HOW dangerous it really is.

I feel for the driver, but that doesn't stop me from also saying to someone their comment isn't needed either.

Was my statement incorrect? If so, then state why. If not, then why did you insert your opinion publicly instead of via PM?

You have zero proof that any comment will be made on his record at all. ZERO.

Not only that, imagine if it was one of our loved ones in a passenger vehicle in front of this Pro-driver.

Actually is should not affect his record it was an unavoidable not at fault. I would say he did everything right on his part and deserves a hat off salute for it.

As for the driver who lost his life we may never know what caused him not to stop or slow down. I had a freightliner once the only way to take it out of cruze was to kick the clutch,or hit the switch on the brake the engine would actually speed up. Was there a mechanical failure? was he distracted by someone in his mirrors ? Could there have been another vehical that contributed to this accident but was not directly involved in the outcome. We may never know.

Again notice the name of the trucker that rear ended the 1st truck, obviously another trucker from Croatia or one of the neighboring countries. I guess he will be asking for an interpreter when he is questioned.
