Wore out can you send me some info on your set-up. I currently have 3.55 with tall rubber and the 13 as well. Seems like your happy with your gears. Do you run through your normal gears then go to the box for just top end?

Do you have the air shift model? And I see the ratio in overdrive is .81 so how does that translate when I hit it with the top side of the 13. Meaning my two overdrives .86 and .73 big hole?

This should keep you busy until he gets back to you.

Sorry guys I been big time grain hauling lol. My son bought a new to me buggy for me as a Father's Day present and I'm pulling the wheels off it.
I do run the air shift model cause the room in my little 3 5 9. I usually run overdrive in the aux on two lanes and keep the main in direct. On the super slabs I run direct in the aux and the main in the big hole. When I really need to cover some ground you know the rest lol. With both of them in high your looking at 1500 at 90 give or take. I went with the 1750 to keep the whine outta high gear. It may be a few days before I get home but I get some pics and put up.Ruthless Thanks this. -
I would be interested in the air shift model as well in the 359 b/c of the space.
Do you still split the top half of the 13 when you are in overdrive in the aux. that would basically give you another two gears top end side. And I like the idea of dummy spacers for low side. I would have no real use for them.Ruthless Thanks this. -
Yea I still run my main like a 13. In overdrive on the aux box it really performs best at .87 in the main rather than .73. I rarely shift the aux while moving I usually know where I wanna be before I pull out.

yeah I hear you. And at .73 that seems like a lot of overdrive. Which is what I want, but I don't think its a gear I would use all that often. When you are in overdrive in the aux and direct in the main approx where you at speed wise at 1450-1500 sweet spot. And is there any possible way you could show a picture of what the air shift looks like inside your cab? I have a 359 as well, and only concern is space and appearance. Other then that I'm very serious about putting in the 1750 model. I think with the gears I have and how light I haul it will complement the truck perfectly.
You seem happy with those gears, I'm going off your feedback.
Thanks,

Let me get to the house I'm pretty big on appearce to and right now well I'm behind on my house keeping and a tad bit ashamed lol.
These numbers are going to be with the aux in OD (.81)
At 1500. In direct your looking at 63 to 65
.87 72 to 75
.73 85 to 90
.Ruthless and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this. -
Can you shift the aux box( 2 speed) like you can with the 2 speed rear ends when moving. The truck will have the 18 speed ultra shift plus. Thanks
-
The 1750 you can. The air shift model has a chrome round knob like the old 13 speeds. Only 4 position instead of 3. Can be mounted anywhere.
