    WHAT?

If that happened on the 105 21% in Vermont that frigging truck will fall down, stall and then attempt to roll backwards if it's a auto, it will just dump and then roll backwards until you get it stopped. And there you are effed. If it's a manual, your life and everyone below are in danger., Because the stupid company messed with the freaking engine. WHo do we write to get this shgit stopped? See? even my typing goes out badly...

The doctor just wrote you a prescription for Reposado.;)

I drive an ex-Swift truck now. Completely ungoverned, and it's fine (after pulling off the EGR crap, new fixed blade turbo, reprogramming the ECM, and dropping in a 13 speed rebuild instead of that POS 10 speed). Winding up to 2000 rpm's to pull a steep muddy hill is fine. Overlapping range of rpm's with 13 gears keeps it in the power band.

Instead of neutering trucks, companies should really teach how to drive effectively. The problem is the typical trainee jumped into my truck with a grand total of 10 hours behind the wheel, no idea how a Jake works, and drilled with idiocy like "never shift on a downgrade".
