So, is it worth it? Good local attorneys/results?

    Info appreciated.

I was thinking specifically of PTL drivers.

    Still think it's good?

It's worth it because it's cheap wait nd see when you get a citation out of state somewhere you gonna have to pay legal plan a first 100 or 150$ so they go ahead nd fight the ticket nd legal plan will just contact a local office where you got the ticket from nd have them represent legal plan from there nd no matter what the decision of the judge is nd how much money they want you gonna have to pay for it plus your 150.

Doesn't matter what trucking company it's worth the small fee. For less than $105 per year that little card in your wallet is like gold. Consider the legal fees you can pay to an attorney in some remote jurisdiction to take your case if you have an accident. Go read some of the horror stories on these message boards to see how quickly the fees & fines approached the $1000s just trying to keep their license from being suspended. Pay the weekly fee & a flat rate to get your case handled almost without incident & you keep on trucking.

I can attest to it being a great plan. Not all are and not having one as insurance is a huge mistake. Your CDL is not like your driver license when it comes to citations and such; it is a valuable, expensive right worth protecting.

I know it's an old thread, but..
    I been driving 10 years and haven't needed a lawyer, and I don't have a "plan" so I didn't spend $ 1,040 on that.

Stand in a truckstop when the legal people are there selling their plan, they're only approaching the green drivers. (We can tell) because it's a waste of money, sort of like the extended warranty at Best Buy.
