Ok I’m on a 34 doing truck organizing and cleaning..It’s I just discovered the master lock securing my chains from theft is 100% rusted locked. I sprayed it with lubricant but no help. Should I pay TA to cut or grind that lock off? I’m sitting here now on a 34 anyway.

Donner is my playground I go back and forth over it daily. Last year was very special. I chained up more times that winter than i had in the last 5 years combined. The fact that Catrans must own stock in chain companies they must because they sometimes put up chain requirements when the road is just wet and light snow falling. So between chaining and the 3 places where 80 had mudslides last year was so wonderful

Ask on the radio if anyone has some big bolt cutters to cut off a master lock.

Picture of lock? Maybe a hammer, I've busted a few that way when necessary.

Good excuse to buy yourself a cordless angle grinder although locks can usually be smacked off with a hammer.

Ok it’s done. Just did it. TA did it for free. $5 tip.

Man how stupid would that have been to get out and chain up like a man.. only to be locked out.

Now, A real man might go off where nobody is watching and practice 1 time with these cable chains...

Actually I spell that locality correctly barring small smartphone keyboard mistakes. Spell check wanted to change it to something else and I guess I didn't erase enough of the other word.

I’m ready for snowpocalypse 2018. This year I’ll be the first dude chaining up with leather gloves and aviators, looking pretty much like a bad ###.

I earned about $0.0035 million more dollars chaining last winter. That's an awful lot of money to leave on the table..... just saying
