100% ANTI-Union!!......... Unions protect the lazy!! If you do your job. Show up on time. You will keep your job and. Get raises like most do without unions. I was in union when 18. They didn't do anything for me. My father worked for union 2 different jobs his whole life . One in Ohio 14 years and one here in Florida for 26 years. Know what first job did. Closed its doors overnight without a warning. 2700 people walked into work with National Gurad standing with guns handing pink slips to ALL. That was in Columbus, Oh in 79'. 26 years at second job on Florida. Guess what happened here. Yep closed doors and moved to another area without union. All those years my father paid those unions that didn't save his job. So if your lazy and keep a job I advise you to please go there. They need your hard earned money. Good luck.......going to go take BP meds now. LOL

Yea I never cared for unions though I will admit, they kept wages up for non union workers back in the 70s and 80s. JB came along in the 70s and that was the beginning of the end for unions. Very few left now.

With the cost of living yearly 3% on average increase, experienced drivers should make 50-52 cpm to keep up with the standards of the 90's.

Even driver reward cards don't go as far.

well Florida a right to work state. Unions been here to take money for nothing they can do cause of that . I begged my father for years to leave union. He always worked and worked hard overtime. He didn't need protection. Measly 4% raise union got them over 5 years doesn't keep up with inflation. He earned that himself. Wish I could open a anti union church. Lol

Yea your fathers situation is why I never cared for them. Just couldn't see paying somebody to keep me a job that I might spend 15 years on then get laid off.

I definitely agree with that. You know, on average, your home doubles in value every 20 years but the cost of gas and fuel had tripled in value just in 10 years time.

I don't care for unions either, but, after 5 years most union workers are vested for a pension. Even if the company closes, the pension is still there.

Yea they had their good points. I just didn't care to go through life worrying about getting laid off. Had several friends who worked for GM and everytime theyd slow down a little, theyd have a layoff. I just didn't want to go through that. LOL
