Hi. I'm looking for a quick bit of help. I have a 2000 9200 with a DD60 12.7 and our batteries were stolen out of the truck. I replaced the batteries with new ones but can't get the truck to start. Cranks fine and will fire on a small shot of ether but won't run. No puffs of smoke present when cranking so I suspect no fuel. I thought the motor might of lost its prime but then got to thinking about the battery hookup. The heavy 4/0 positive wires (2 of them) and the main 4/0 ground are simple to connect (along with the frame ground). There are several 6/0 battery jumpers that are used to get all the batteries in parallel as well. One jumper has a number of red 14ga power wires coming out of it, which I assume are all ecm and accessory wires as they are fused but there is another 6/0 jumper wire that has a white wire connected to it that I had connected to positive (thought it was another accessory but am now thinking this might have been the ecm clean ground wire and therefore should have gone to the battery ground).
Can anyone confirm my thoughts on this white wire coming out of the battery jumper?
I suspect this is preventing the ecm from powering and therefore preventing any injector pulses for the engine fuel.
    thanks

I have a 96 Series 60 and the connections are very straightforward. My fuseable link is behind the battery box out of sight and corrosion caused a loss of connection causing mine to not run. It may not be causing what you are experiencing, but worth a look.
