Truck doesn't always respond to the accelerator pedal. If I press the pedal up/down it will eventually respond and accelerate. Does this in all gears. Coincidentally the truck always responds and accelerates normally using the cruise control. I changed the TPS pedal sensor and no change. The check engine light comes on/off randomly. Was wondering if the wiring between the TPS and computer might be bad? Has anyone experienced the same? Thank you.

Check the power and grounds on the ecm harness, especially the fuses to see if they are corroded.

    Cummins or Cat?
Not certain on this, but I think there is a recalibration procedure for the throttle position. ?

    Thanks, Detroit Series 50.
I’ll look into calibration requirements. Never did that.
