2000 pete a/c compressor will not come on

    Yeah I know but it had 100 psi on lo and hi side with two cans in it it’s fine though got the issue fixed

    Your A/C compressor clutch has a direct ground, so if you have 12 volts on both sides of the clutch, then you are missing the ground (an open ground shows battery voltage throughout the circuit). You truck most likely had a 1 wire compressor clutch, meaning that the ground was through the compressor housing. If it was changed to a 2 wire plug clutch, the ground needs to be grounded.
