i have a 2000 kw t2000 that is having problems with the fan staying on and a ses code for the throttle position.

When I switch the fan from auto to manual the ses light goes away but it acts like it's barely picking up a signal from the throttle. It is not driveable and it's barely moveable when I switch the fan to manual. When it's on auto it drives fine but the ses light is on until you touch the accelerator pedal and sometimes the jakes stay on even after tapping the accelerator. It's like one part or electrical interference is causing all of these problems.

    Any ideas?

If you have a N14 engine I would say you have a bad OEM engine harness.

Check the OEM wire harness that goes from the right side of the ecm into the firewall. Usual problem spots are within 6 inches of ecm when it starts to curl upwards.

Well I checked out the ecm and harness wiring, everything seems to check out. The ecm is covered from oil because of an oil leak but it seems ok. Any other suggestions?

Did you follow all the way to the bulkhead connector into the firewall? That is another problem area where it twist locks into the firewall.
