That'll be one of those Kelowna built Stars. Pre-Daimler buyout. They had a pretty good reputation for quality out of that factory.

Bike rider, G13Tomcat and Lepton1 Thank this.

I've been through Kelowna a time or two on the way to the Canadian Rockies from Seattle. That settles it. That truck wants me.

I need to look at the engine specs when I have a chance to open the hood. My mechanic said it could be dialed up to 500 to 600 hp.

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.

According to the VIN it was a 475 at factory. Engine S/N might tell a different story though.

The one thing you might find is that getting some parts for Kelowna built W/S can be a bit of a pain. I had two friends that had 2000/2001 W/S like ypu are looking at. Both guys had issues getting some parts at times. Nothing insurmountable but it would help if ypu have a good shop or older W/S dealer to help out when needed. I'd still go with it though.
