2001 T2000 Service light on?

    The red service light is lit up on my automatic shifter & it won't go into gear. What could be the problem???

    That must be about the first year they come out with auto-shift. Eaton transmissions had trouble getting stuck in gear back then. The servo motor got struck or something. Drivers use to unhook battery cable and it could reset the transmission computer if just turning the key off did not work or see what if their is a fuse to pull maybe.
